Race to a better world

Race Plans

Our objective is to achieve a 5% increase in world prosperity, and obsolete wars/major conflicts by the end of 2024.

Olympics

Step 1

We are in the 160th anniversary year of the birth of Baron de Coubertin, founder of the modern Olympics. His dream was that the Olympics could someday reduce, or even eliminate wars and conflicts between nations.

It is appropriate that his dream should finally come true at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. It is appropriate because France is his native country, he was born in Paris and it is the 130th anniversary of his Paris Congress that founded the modern Olympics.

The day before the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Summer Olympics we plan to start the international RACE TO A BETTER WORLD. The day of celebration will begin with the world-wide televised BETTER WORLD CELEBRATION CONCERT preferably at the spectacular French Army Museum in Paris. During the concert, the speaker system and giant screen will be intermittently used to disclose the historic events occurring nearby in the Hall of Mirrors of the Palace of Versailles where 105 years earlier the treaty ending World War I was signed.

Donations and money raised from the BETTER WORLD CELEBRATION CONCERT will go to victims on both sides of the Israeli-Hamas war.  The concert will also be asking Iran, the financier of Hamas, to provide the additional compensation for the Israeli victims of the attack on October 7th and for Israel to compensate the Palestinian people for their losses.  In almost every country if you damage someone you have to compensate them for the damage.  This is how to prevent a much more expensive new generation of violence between Muslims, Israelis and Americans. Representatives from all nations, along with VIPs, will meet in the Hall of Mirrors to sign the DECLARATION TO START THE INTERNATIONAL RACE TO A BETTER WORLD. Following the signing, an ancient cannon, World War I howitzer and World War I tank at the French Army Museum will be ceremonially fired to signal the start of the RACE and the website will be opened to accept commitments.

Then the representatives and VIPs will honor, thank and toast Parisian Baron de Coubertin for his vision and tireless efforts to establish the modern Olympics. That will be followed by the first public playing of the winning original song written to thank the Baron that could be used as a theme song for future BETTER WORLD CELEBRATION CONCERTS before future Olympics.

Step 2

Simultaneously with the ceremonial firing of the cannon, howitzer and tank at the French Army Museum in Paris, to signal the start of the RACE, the big guns on the USS Missouri Battleship will be ceremonially fired in Pearl Harbor.  Paris and Pearl Harbor are 12 time zones apart on opposite sides of the world and are where the documents were signed ending both World Wars I and World War II.

The USS Missouri is the last battleship ever built and is where the surrender ending World War II was signed. It is a reminder of how when the world was threatened, the United States, Russia, China and many other nations worked together to secure the peace.

Today, it should again remind us to come together in the face of even greater threats to humanity.

Step 3

All other countries are encouraged to have their own celebratory start to the RACE that will be televised world-wide. For example, both China and Russia paid a heavy price in lost lives and contributed significantly to winning the peace. We hope that China will have a ceremonial firing of a World War II tank in honor of their victory helping to secure the peace at the Battle of Taierzhuang.

Step 4

Likewise, we hope Russia will have a ceremonial firing of a World War II tank to start the RACE at the base of the Motherland Calls statue in honor of their contribution to winning the peace in World War II. The Motherland Calls statue dwarfs the Statue of Liberty and is located where the February 2nd, 1943 victory at the Battle of Stalingrad took place.

Step 5

During the Olympic opening and closing ceremonies we hope the athletes will encourage the citizens of their country to advance in the international RACE TO A BETTER WORLD.

This might be in the form of a coordinated and/or uniquely designed salute to the cameras as the athletes pass by. We hope that broadcasters of the event will show to viewers at home the rankings and scores of the countries in the two categories of how they contributed to world peace and prosperity and their population commitment percentages as their athletes enter the opening and closing ceremonies. Along with that, we hope they will show the picture and the name of their national leader.

The morning after the Olympics ends, we plan on helping the Olympic host city, by holding the BETTER WORLD Award Ceremonies.

Step 6

BETTER WORLD AWARDS will be given in the two categories of how the individuals or countries contributed to increasing peace and prosperity in the world and how they encouraged their country’s citizens to commit on the RACE website to reward and demand of each other that we all make decisions that maximize the benefit to everyone affected.

National leaders that have done a standout job will be honored from the lowest to the highest in rank in the two categories. A description of why each is being honored will be included. Medals will be given to standout countries, athletes, corporate leaders, non-profit leaders, rock stars, country music stars, TV and movie stars, influencers, politicians, investigative reporters, etc.

Like the Academy Awards and Golden Globes, finalists will be announced in advance and videos of why the finalists were chosen will be shown before the awards. Like other world-wide award ceremonies, musical performances and other entertainment will be included.

The international RACE TO A BETTER WORLD is independent of the Olympics.  All the profits from TV, movie and other intellectual property rights will go to creating a more peaceful, prosperous and ethical world.
